Monsoon is here to provide you some much-needed relief from the hot temperature however the season also requires some changes in your lifestyle and diet. Even your skincare routine requires necessary modification to adjust with the monsoon. Just like other parts of our body, our skin is prone to experience various skin problems such as rashes, pimples, eczema, prickly heat boils during the monsoon if not looked after well.

1. Sunscreen is must
Since it’s cloudy, does not mean the skin is protected from the sun. It is extremely important to guard your skin from the sun’s harmful UV rays, so always use a good sunscreen lotion. During the rainy season do not use oil-based products on your face as they tend to block the pores and can lead to acne; especially if your skin type is prone to oiliness. keep away from water based make up as it can get smudged if you get caught in rains unawares.
2.Healthy diet
Incorporate vit C and vit A rich food in the diet. This will give natural glow to the skin
3.Proper cleansing of skin
Cleanse with a mild cleanser minimum twice day. For oily acne prone skin use medicated cleansers prescribed by your doctor to prevent acne and blemishes.
4. Medi facials
A Medi Facial combines exfoliation, come done extraction, Lymphatic drainage massage, specialized serum infusion and specific treatment products to address skin concerns, improve skin appearance, function, and overall health of the skin.
Its especially helps in rainy season when skin requires expert care!
5.Hair care
With high humidity scalp and hair concerns like frizzy hair, oily itchy scalp, dandruff and hair fall increase.
Make sure to wash hair on alternate days and never skip conditioner.
Hair services like scalp detox for itchy scalp, mesotherapy and prp for hair fall and hair thinning can be availed under doctors guidance.
6.Hydrate
Maintain adequate hydration by drinking 8 to 10 glasses of water. Also have a balanced diet preferably home cooked with fruits and veggies
It’s important to maintain excellent hygiene and ensure your body and feet stay dry and clean always. Avoid sharing personal items like clothing, combs or towels, and make sure any salon tools used on you are sterilized beforehand. Wear breathable, cotton clothing and waterproof sandals or floaters. Tight, synthetic outfits and closed footwear, will result in sweating, body odour and skin infections.
